Random Posts...

Here are a few pics with brief synopsis of some recent happenings in our lives. This is more of a Shott and Scawna approach. Let's see how the picture downloads work with our dial-up!

#1. For some odd reason we decided to stop and get a set of clippers so I could cut Glenn's hair. Scary? Oh, yes. I am about as inexperienced as they come in this realm. Check out the results... not too bad. Though I do believe Glenn fell asleep while I took my sweet time completing the task.

#2. Glenn and I decided to go up the canyon with some friends the other night. It was so refreshing to be out, but we learned that chasing the little boys away from the fire and searching for lost binkies in the dark didn't exactly lend itself to relaxation. Glenn and I discussed it and figured we better get used to this routine for the next 15 years!

#3. Just proof of my last post. We had the laptop tucked away in a corner but, big mistake... still on. It didn't take our little man long to find it and go to work.

#4. I made a scrapbook for Cory with the pics from our childhood that I found after my mom's passing. Scrapbooking is entirely too much work, and yet I am determined to do it. I love this pic because you can see that rascal smile come out in Cory. We were discussing one of his typical childhood ideas caught on camera here... what would happen if I wound up my hot wheels car and put the spinning wheels in my sister's hair? Brilliant.

You missed the sideburns! Just kidding - no, I'm not...

Keep up the scrapbooking. I have 35 years of pictures of kids in a big box waiting to be rescued! It will never happen, I know. I've tried to separate them, but I can hardly tell one boy from another now!

Brett makes me cut his hair. (Yes, MAKES me!) And the kids hair. Scary, considering I have no idea what I'm doing. I can relate to your post because it takes me forever. That makes for an interesting time when it's Peanut's hair I'm cutting and he can't hold still for even one minute. Looks like you did well!

Great pictures!

Love the pictures of your little family. Am I the only one who has a husband who would rather looke like a hippy than have his - gasp - wife cut his hair?!?! I've thought about learning (in hopes of saving some $$$; he seems to need his hair cut like every other week), but I seriously doubt he would ever let me come near him with clippers or a pair of scissors. Guess he's probably smart. I'd probably end up giving up and telling him I had to shave his entire head.

Nope, I won't let Dill cut mine either. She does a great job on the boys, but wow, took 2 sessions of 1.5 hour cuts before I said the heck with it. It's worth the payment to have it done fast and right! She's good at other things, let's keep to those! Now the massage of the scalp, I miss enjoying that (have to not enjoy it when it's a barber).
