Riff Raff, Street Rat, I Don't Buy That

Yes, all day today as I have gazed at my children, that song from Aladdin has run though my mind. I guess it is true. It's time for my boys to get a little trim up.

Still, they are iconic boyhood in action. Popsicle stains on shirts, black eye, hair too long and curling, nails that should have been cut last week when mom tried until she gave up, sweat with lots of dirt attached.

Wish me luck- these paupers don't turn into princes without a fight. They hate hair and nail cuts, but sure love the bath. I believe soaked and exhausted I will come out conqueror tonight. It's okay, I'm up for the challenge- I'm feeling spunky. I returned from Oregon to find my husband had bought me a surfboard (thanks to Karalea!). Suddenly I can do anything.

(Post-bath, haircut, nail cuts...)

Cute boys! I know what you mean about cutting their hair. I have to totally psych myself up to cut my boys hair because I enjoy it even less than they do. I put it off as long as I possibly can. Brett usually ends up begging me to “make them looked loved” as he puts it. You did a great job and your boys are adorable… in the before and after shots.

Although I am partial to the long curly locks...(so beautiful) they are mighty handsome with those haircuts!!

Your boys are so cute with any style of cut. I am also partial to long, curly locks. In fact, i am trying to convince Jeremy to grow his hair long, but he won't! Punk!
My Mom wouldn't cut any of my brothers' hair all summer because they would put up such a fight. Shaggy was the look around my house.
Good job cutting their hair. Very nice work!

Can't wait to see you on your board. And how I love summer with the dirty faces, feet, and hands with overgrown hair and nails. And if you want to revel in it, smell their necks right before their bath!! I hope I never forget the smell of a boy.

Just look at those boys!! I still remember babies. Doesn't time go fast! I hear you when you say you can't imagine growing for 10 more weeks. I don't know how it happens but it does and we survive and then we get a beautiful baby! Congrats and can't wait to hear the update!
