(No, we are not pregnant again!) I have used the pic of our place on Christmas morning because we have that same sense of excitement and anticipation right now...
Most of you know that Glenn was flown out to New York two weeks ago to interview with Blue Sky (Horton Hears a Who, Ice Age, Robots) for a storyboarding position (which he would LOVE!). We should find out a 'yay' or 'nay' sometime by this week's end. It has been a blast to even be this far on a position like this in the industry (very hard to get into story positions). We really do like Blue Sky and we'll see what comes of it.
Yesterday, Glenn got a call from PIXAR (yes, that's right!) to fly him out in a week to interview with them. This position is not as creatively packed as storyboarding, but we're talking Pixar! This has been Glenn's dream for years. I am bursting with pride for him over here, coupled with falling on my knees in gratitude for the Lord's blessings. Glenn has worked so hard to get here- even now, it is common for him to get up at 5 am to work on his portfolio without cutting into family time. He is a wonder.
It really does feel like Christmas morning- in those boxes there may be loads of underwear (aka: not getting the job/s), or the keys to a new car (either job)... we'll keep you posted!
