Hail the Conquering Hero!

It's finished! Pajama Gladiator premiered earlier today to a full house of well over 1,000 people in the DeJong Concert Hall at BYU. And, if I may boast for Glenn- it was AWESOME! I was so proud of him, I was so close to tears. He has been a fighter and a finisher through this (in classic form, he stayed up all night last night to have it finished in time). The outcome is really quite impressive! The audience loved it-- and I loved hearing the animation crew cheer extra loud for Glenn's name on screen. Way to go Babe!!! You deserve it! It really is the best animated short BYU has yet produced. Glenn sent it off to the student Academy's this morning, so here's hoping!

Let's not be ridiculous, however. This film is the fruition of SO many talented and devoted people (for which we are IMMENSELY grateful and think so highly of)- but I selfishly want to just talk about Glenn right now :). I'm proud of you Babe.

This is Ed Catmull- President of Disney and Pixar. He spoke at the Premier, and it was literally nothing short of inspirational. This guy is one of my new heroes- he is brilliant, has ingenious business philosophies, and has a goal of "contributing positive to world culture". He carries out in the industry what I thought were only unobtainable ideals. Very cool guy.

Glenn was interviewed on every side at a press conference and has already been on the news and in both of the newspapers here (I was in one- but it was a misquote!). He's just as good lookin' on TV!

Another peak Glenn just reached this past week was Delicate Arch in Moab- absolutely beautiful. I was excited that we were finally able to make the trek down to Moab (a first time experience for Glenn) with Trev and my Dad. They were a ton of fun and Trevor turned 17 on the trip. All in all, it has been one eventful week. (Did I mention that we are also blessing Jonas on Sunday and probably having about 50 people over to the house afterwards???!)

I loved watching glenn on the news! I wish I could have been there to support my friends. My children love the teaser video on the BYU website. What talent.

Kristen, aren't you glad it's over! You get your husband back! :)

Oh I forgot. Glenn, I can't believe you haven't been to Moab before! Everyone needs to go at least three times in their life. (my father-in-law grew up there) Isn't it beautiful?

Way to go Glenn! What a great accomplishment! I didn't know I was related to the famous Glenn Harmon. :P
No, both Jacob and I are proud of you. Also, I'm glad you went to Moab. I have yet to travel there. And thanks for inviting us to Jonas' blessing.
