A La Emily

Floral headbands- the flower can also be detached and worn independently.

Last week my cousin-in-law, Emily, had a wonderful week of craft idea postings. They were a LOT of fun, and I thought I'd go ahead and try this one as a Christmas gift for my Young Women. I am so happy with how thy turned out! It took me days of leaving this project out on my counter to use every spare minute to finish a craft while raising three kids, but I did it! Thanks Emily!

For anyone who'd like to see her blog, here's the address: emilys-little-world.blogspot.com. She is wonderfully fun, talented, and insightful. I am quite a fan.

Oh that's too funny! I just made those yesterday for Ella and all the little girls in her class. They turned out so cute. No help from Emily though- i picked my mom's brain instead :) I guess great minds really do think alike...

Love the headbands. I made something similar for Nora (in our Christmas pic) - I love the crafts that look a lot more complex than they actually are. As a now mother-of-three, I'm sure you can relate.

To your questions: Nora will be one on Jan. 4th. Porter didn't walk until he was 18 months, so the Thanksgiving walking was quite a surprise. I have a feeling this little gal is going to be a handful.

Merry Christmas!
