Most of Jonas' tantrums revolve around technology and being thwarted from following through on his ambitious plans to take over...
Max is happy, not pained, in this pic. Trevor and I (we) flew my dad out for his birthday. Max was thrilled and made lots of birthday plans, including INSISTING on an airplane cake. I was pretty impressed with what we were able to pull off on a whim.
As to how I told Glenn we were pregnant- ah, it's lame. Glenn and I talk about everything, and I happen to have a paranoia about being pregnant (go figure, eh? We'll only have 3 kids 4 yrs-old and under only a few months after we have our 5th anniversary!). So mid-month in Feb. when I felt REALLY off, I started trying to reassure Glenn and myself that I was just being paranoid. But when time kept passing without a little visit, I went to get a test. Glenn was home, so he knew right when the test showed up VERY lightly as positive. He kind of had a hard time with it at first- just not getting to feel in control of the choice. We weren't positive that the test was a definite yes, but I was just excited! Later that day, he looked over at me, sighed and said "Oh, you're glowing..." I wish you could hear the tone in his voice- he was discouraged, but was now convinced that yes, we were actually pregnant! I think it had more sway than the pregnancy test! I was simply delighted.
As for our announcement video- Yes, Max can read- but not that fluently. After he read the first three lines, he was tired of working that hard and we just told him what to say! He was rewarded after each line with a bite of chocolate, which is great motivation for a three year old! Also, Glenn was only correcting how Max was saying "Grirl" not announcing we were having a girl- we still don't know. I am pretty sure we are having a third boy, though- and that is beautiful by us. We are now three months along and I have my first doctor's visit on Wed.- I can't wait!!!
We had a great visit from Glenn's brother and sister-in-law and kids last week. It was such a joy to have them! We wish they could have stayed twice as long. Thanks for the great visit guys!

Oddly enough, i am a little jealous of you. Not that i want to be pregnant right now, but the whole process is such a miracle despite the pains we mothers go through to have these sweet souls join or families. I am so excited for you! You are such a wonderful mother. I am hoping you get a girl, but of course you do so well with boys. I so wish we lived closer, but these types of updates will have to tide me over until we are ambitious enough to come and see you. Love you!
Wonderful pictures! I love hearing the stories AND seeing the pictures! And wonder of wonders, I finally have a new post! Thought I better tell you because I'm sure you've given up looking for one! Love you all!
The pictures are great, even if they do make me miss your family and your beautiful weather! (It's been a little more stormy and cold this week, but last week was glorious!) Good luck with your doctor's appointment!
I could never keep my pregnancies a secret from my hubby either. He knew the minute I knew.
You guys are the best! A million thanks for the great visit!
